Obama Calls for New Ideas to Create Jobs

November 3, 2009 12:00 by Ann Pace

U.S. President Barack Obama says innovation will be the key to creating the jobs of the future.  Mr. Obama says he is looking for new ways to recoup the jobs lost during the economic recession.

With a new round of dismal job loss figures expected later the week, President Obama says he is searching for ways to create new employment opportunities.

"This is my administration's overriding focus," said President Obama. "Having brought the economy back from the brink, the question is how are we going to make sure that people are getting back to work and able to support their families."

I have an idea that will provide 250-300 jobs / center that is innovative, high tech, a part of our infrastructure, and desperately needed to preserve our "culture". The Federal Government should sponsor the implementation of digitization centers to digitize archives of documents, forms, books, journals, and newspapers. In many cases these archives are required by law. All accross this land Newspapers and regional journals are going out of business and risk the preservation of their publications for historical and research purposes. The Library of Congress has extablished the electronic format which is "open" and is free and the meta-data standards so that these archives can be easily updated and compined to support wider electronic "searches". These centres would provide employment for scanning, quality control, and network skills as well as preserve our "culture" that is wasting away in storage somewhere inaccessible to the rest of us. It also provides a good return on investment for governments constantly spending all that money in storing, vaulting, updating, and transporting government forms.

My suggestion would be to strike two in one blow: create new economic activity and thousands of new jobs (!) as well as do something highly imaginative and substantial about reducing oil (import) dependency and reducing emissions.

What if I told you that I have here what many people consider the best three-wheel vehicle concept ever. It's the type of vehicle the DOA is thinking of stimulating because of its extraordinary potential to boost energy efficiency as well as reduce emissions. Drawings were showcased at the Detroit Auto Show 2008. Now it's time to take my ideas a couple of steps further.

There's more info at:

There are several ways how to go about this. Taking this further within the reals of U.S. Government, to politicians, the UAW, teaming me up with companies that might be interested. I know that a lot of car assembly plants are about to be closed.

Looking forward to hearing any helpful suggestions,

My idea for adding jobs is an economic certainty if it is followed:
A] Add projects that do not require expensive materials and specialized knowledge as opased to "honest work for a days pay"work .
Example : "Carpenters are hard to employ because they can use, nail up $5,000 in materials a day".

The United States and Canada Project. Energy generation @ Bay of fundy "new dam" project. Project would include an off shore highway, creating new ocean front harbor sites-* along Maines southern border to the dam site.
*- fish farming in sheltered bays.
Massive mountain sections reduced to ocean highway project.
Project would be the same as the "BUILDING OF BOLDER DAM DURING THE DEPRESSION"
}Laborers young men are transported to job sites and tempory housing established. Thousands of men are needed .

There is more unused land north of new youk city 1,500 miles, which is the same distance to Miami Florida, and look at the commerce 1,500 miles south of New york City.
I am pretty sure Canada would love the project. There St Lawrence Seaway shoreline has a aparce population.

United States and North and west Africa project.
This idea " the destruction of west Africa cities by 100 foot high migrating sand-dunes" This idea of "photovoltic- sunpowered pumps pushing water through pipelines to keep the sand dunes from migrating also contains making a fresh water dam out of the Richart Structure [ 30 mile diameter level structure in West Mauratania]". If Egypt wants to join in the project the pipeline would drain some of the Mediterrain sea
into the Afar Depression Hundreds of feet below sea level. The piplines would have electric generaters alond the "fall" to create massive electricity. The fresh water lake[ after desalinization] would add thousands of miles of airable agricultral irragated land to feed the hungry of the African continent.

If you dont get the peace prize for these projects I will work for you for $1.00 for 9 months a year.
