FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 3 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the
United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) presented the 21st
Century Best Practice Award to the U.S. Navy for its CSC-supported
eLearning program. USDLA presented the award in conjunction with the
2009 National Conference on April 28 in St. Louis, Mo.
The
eLearning program addresses the many unique technical and
organizational challenges faced by the Navy. The program delivers,
tracks and manages more than 8,000 electronic courses online for more
than one million active duty U.S. Navy troops, civilian employees,
reservists, retirees and family members.
